GraceStory FAQs

1.

Who can attend GraceStory Conference?

This year's event is a women-only conference. The men’s conference is coming Spring 2023, so stay tuned! This conference is not appropriate for children. However, girls 13 and up may attend with their mother or a guardian. Childcare is not provided and children ages 1-12 should not attend. However, mothers with nursing infants (1 year and under) are welcomed.

Where is GraceStory Conference being held?

Our 2022 GraceStory Women's Conference will be held at the Springdale Nazarene Church in Cincinnati, Ohio.

How do I purchase tickets for GraceStory Conference?

Tickets can be purchased online here. All discounts are taken through the use of coupon codes. If you do not enter a coupon code at registration, you will not receive a discounted rate. For instructions on how to use coupon codes, choose: Desktop or Mobile.

Note: Tickets are transferable to future conferences or to other individuals, but are not refundable.

Are hotel accommodations available at the venue?

There are many great hotels available in close proximity to our venue. Listed are a few options that we would recommend:

1) Home2 Suites, 2) Drury Inn & Suites, 3) Tru by Hilton, 4) Hyatt Place Sharonville.

If you would prefer to shop around for hotel prices, we recommend www.priceline.com. There are many hotels in the Springdale area near the conference location.

Are meals included in the conference price?

Our 2022 GraceStory Gala on Friday evening includes a full dinner. Recommended attire for this evening is Sunday best to formal wear. On Saturday, a boxed lunch will be provided. There are also many restaurants located near the venue (see below).

Are there restaurants and/or shopping located near the venue?

Yes! The Cincinnati area has a lot to offer to guests.

Restaurants: McDonalds (1 mile); Starbucks (2 miles); Cracker Barrel (2.5 miles); Graeter's Ice Cream (2 miles); Chick-fil-a (2 miles); Raising Canes (2 miles); Chipotle (2 miles)

Shopping: Ikea (6 miles); Tri-County Mall (2 miles); Kenwood Towne Center - restaurants and mall shopping (11 miles).

Cincinnati Favorites: Skyline Chili, Coffee Emporium (the coffee locals love), Smale Park (a beautiful park along the Ohio River with oversized swings, walking paths, art, and more). Ride Cincinnati's streetcar - the Connector - to see the sights downtown. Findlay Market - a 165-year-old cultural icon of sights, sounds, smells, and tastes. Check out cincinnatiusa.com for more!

Where do I park? How much does it cost?

The Springdale Nazarene Church provides FREE on-site parking for all guests.

Can I bring food or drinks into the venue?

Yes! Food and beverages are permitted inside the venue, except for inside the auditorium.

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Yes. The venue is handicap accessible.

How do I apply to be a vendor at the Self-Care Vendor Market?

If you are interested in having a booth at our Self-Care Vendor Market, please email our Vendor Coordinator, Wilma Lavy. For more information on vendor market cost and requirements, please visit our Vendor page.

You do not have to attend conference to be a vendor. However, vendors must pay conference and vendor registrations in order to attend sessions. There is a considerable discount for vendors who would also like to attend conference.

Our vendor market includes many things that will be of interest to women and self-care: personal care, consulting and counseling services, desserts/coffee, and interactive booth experiences. If you have a service or product that would fit, we would love to hear from you!

Does GraceStory Conference need volunteers?

GraceStory welcomes volunteers who have a heart for the ministry and willing hands to help! If you would like to be involved, send us an email.

Is GraceStory a faith-based conference?

GraceStory is an unashamedly faith-based conference, and we will be talking about God's love and grace in the midst of our stories. People of all faiths are welcome to attend, but if you have any questions about our values, please visit our About page.

When does everything happen at GraceStory Conference? Is the complete schedule available?

Note: Each counselor is unique in their practice and approach. While GraceStory makes every effort to vet the counselors we refer, we recommend that you do your own due diligence and pursue your counseling journey with informed discretion.
